CHF 131'728.- for children in switzerland

On 20 October 2013, a total of 20 companies from the finance, IT and insurance sectors stepped up to the start line as 777 runners, many of them joined by family and friends, got ready to run their laps of the track. Every single one of them was doing their bit to support fit4future, Switzerland’s biggest healthy living initiative for children. As usual, the mood was fantastic during the 13th edition of the Swiss Finance Forum’s charity run, which was held in the autumnal park setting next to Seebad Enge, an outdoor pool and venue in Zurich.

All in all, the runners completed 8991 laps of the 800-metre circuit, bringing the total proceeds raised for run4kids in 2013 to CHF 131,728. Thanks to the funds from this event, we were able to accept another 16 primary schools onto fit4future, allowing around 3200 pupils to take full advantage of this science-based initiative free of charge.
