Event information 2020

Proceeds from the run are used to help children in Switzerland

Despite COVID-19, run4kids is still happening. Here’s how

We won’t be holding the big event in Zurich in 2020. Instead, this year’s event will be happening all over Switzerland, independent of time and place, making everything more flexible, more practical and – most importantly – risk-free for everyone taking part! Each participant will run (or walk) at their own convenience and record the distance covered on their individual profile.

Anywhere in Switzerland: right outside your front door, in the hills, at work. Hiking, speed-walking or strolling all count, and it’s even possible to take part in a wheelchair!

A maximum of 2 hours in one go, between 5 and 25 October (participants are free to choose a time and day to suit in this period). All the results submitted will be added up and analysed at 6pm on 25 October.

As far as you want to go and can manage.

What counts?

Running, hiking, speed-walking – it’s up to you. It’s even possible to take part in a wheelchair!

Mesuring the distance

The distance covered must be logged by a fitness watch, a pedometer or a tracking app such as Runkeeper, Runtastic, Endomondo or Strava, then you will need to send this information to the run4kids organisation.

Companies, their employees, their families and individual runners.

There will be a raffle for all participants: 4 PKZ vouchers each worth CHF 100 are up for grabs.
